PVCU Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: Competitive Salary, Depending on Experience.

Location: Warrington WA1.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:30.

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production team and ensure efficient operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity while fostering a positive work environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards
• Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Monitor production metrics and implement strategies for improvement in efficiency and output
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any operational issues
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, including inventory levels and equipment maintenance logs
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee feedback and participation in problem-solving initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably in window production
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members at all levels
• Reliable with good time keeping skills is essential
• Be able to work in a very busy, fast-moving environment and have a very strong work ethic
